How does the process work?

After you reach out to me, I'll schedule a first meeting with you, at which time I can go over any details or ideas you have. I will help you refine your choices of tone woods and body styles to achieve the best possible sound for your preferred playing style. We can also discuss scale lengths, neck widths and thickness, inlays, and esthetics.

Once your design is finalized, I require a $500 deposit to put you on the waiting list. When it’s your turn, a deposit of 30% is then required to begin the build. Some very custom builds could require a larger initial deposit. Your remaining balance would then need to be paid upon completion of your instrument.

Lead times are typically 8-12 months, these lead times can vary depending on the current backlog.

Pricing for guitars starts at $4000.

Pricing for Mandolins starts at $3500 for A Style and $5000 for F Style.

Pricing for Ukuleles starts at $2500.

There are a few options for getting the instrument to you. You could come and pick it up straight from my shop. I could carefully package and ship it to you. Or, depending on your location, I could personally deliver it to you. Costs related to shipping or delivery would be an extra charge.

All of my instruments are covered by a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner. This warranty covers any defects in materials and construction. This warranty does not cover damage or wear to the finish, fretboard, frets, or any damage caused by improper climate control or care of the instrument.
